We are thrilled to announce the launch of PFLAG Ventura's new blog, which aims to be inclusive, informative, and a valuable resource for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. As a nonprofit chapter of PFLAG National, PFLAG Ventura is dedicated to fostering a caring, just, and affirming environment for LGBTQ+ individuals and their loved ones.
Located at the Diversity Collective's Community Resource Center in Ventura, CA, PFLAG Ventura offers a range of services, including support groups, trainings, and monthly support meetings. The organization also provides a scholarship for youth pursuing higher education or entering the workforce. The blog will cover a variety of topics relevant to the LGBTQ+ community, with a focus on providing support, education, and resources. Readers can expect to find articles on coming out, mental health, relationships, current events, and more. The blog will also feature personal stories, interviews, and guest posts from members of the community. In addition to the blog, the PFLAG Ventura website will offer volunteer and internship opportunities, a resources page with helpful links and information, and a calendar of upcoming events. The design of the website will incorporate the organization's brand colors, images, and icons, creating a welcoming and supportive online space.
